1/2 CUPS
flour
1 TEASPOON
baking powder
1/4 TEASPOON
salt
1 OUNCE
margarine
1 CUP
McArthur milk
1 CUP
coconut oil
Sift
flour, baking powder and salt. Rub in margarine. Blend
with McArthur milk to form soft dough (a little more
McArthur milk may be needed). Divide dough into ten
balls. Knead each one from the outside in for half a
minute then fry in a 6 -inch pan of hot oil. As the
bottom half browns, turn each cake over and cook gently,
until done.
Drain
and serve hot. Split in two and butter if liked.
